No experience is required as a prerequisite for the Trainee Appraiser classification Licensed Residential Real Property Appraiser 30 semester hours of college-level education from an accredited college, junior college, community college, or university. Applicants holding an Associate degree, or higher, from an accredited college, junior college, community college, or university satisfy the hour college-level education requirement.
Applicants with a college degree from a foreign country may have their education evaluated for 'equivalency'. Two thousand 2, hours of qualifying experience in no fewer than twelve 12 months.
Two thousand five hundred 2, hours of experience obtained during no fewer than twenty-four 24 months is required. Three thousand 3, hours of qualifying experience obtained in no fewer than thirty 30 months, where a minimum of one thousand five hundred 1, hours must be obtained in non-residential appraisal work. Beginning January 1, , the AQB has made significant changes to appraisal qualifications. Some states may choose to implement the changes sooner, so be sure to check with your state regulator.
Before applying for licensure an applicant must complete the required experience per Wis. Once your application and experience forms are received, you will be asked to submit appraisal reports for review. Completion of program of study for licensed appraisers of at least hours of instruction covering topics indicated in Wis. Note: Courses that have been approved by the AQB do not require separate approval. This Act extends the license of a service member if the license expires while they are on active duty from 90 days to days from the date of discharge.
The same applies to a spouse of a service member if the spouse does not practice under their license while the service member is on active duty and does not practice because the service member is on active duty.
This Act repeals a provision of prior law that required a service member to meet all of the requirements for license extension or renewal, except for continuing education requirements, in order to have the license extended.
